Your role at Clorox

We are looking for a Credit & Collection Assistant to support our Credit and Collection Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables, applying payments, analyzing account discrepancies, and supporting credit and collection decisions.

You will work closely with customers and internal business partners to resolve issues, minimize credit risk, and maintain accurate account information. You will also contribute to reporting, process improvements, and automation opportunities that enhance the efficiency of our Credit & Collections processes

In this role, you will

• Manage collection activities and customer accounts, including outstanding and overdue receivables, cash application, account reconciliations, adjustments, credit notes, and collection claims.
• Evaluate and release orders blocked by the system based on credit risk, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Analyze customer accounts and payment trends to identify overdue balances and determine the most effective collection approach.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve billing, pricing, payment, and product delivery discrepancies.
• Process customer refunds and review account adjustments as needed.
• Prepare and submit Accounts Receivable reports, identify non-payment trends, and collaborate with internal partners to address root causes.
• Build effective working relationships with Sales and other business areas to support collection activities and resolve account issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within Credit & Collections and Order to Cash activities.
