YOUR ROLE

Are you passionate about healthcare, enjoy building relationships and want to kick-start a career in sales? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!

CEVA Logistics is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Specialist to support the growth of our healthcare logistics business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop their commercial skills and build a long-term career within a specialist industry.

In this role, you’ll focus on identifying new business opportunities with small and medium-sized healthcare customers, reconnecting with former customers and generating qualified leads. You’ll research potential customers, make outbound calls, build relationships and help turn opportunities into profitable business.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Identify and engage small and medium-sized healthcare customers, turning suitable prospects into new trading accounts.

Explore opportunities to reactivate dormant accounts by understanding customer needs and why previous trading relationships ended.

Revisit previous quotations and stalled opportunities where there is potential to win business.

Develop trust with new and growing customers, support their early trading activity and identify opportunities to grow accounts.

Partner with Pricing, Operations and Commercial colleagues to support quotations, develop suitable solutions and ensure a smooth handover for customers’ first shipments.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re more interested in your potential, attitude and willingness to learn than a long list of previous sales achievements.

Confident and professional communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers over the phone, by email and in person.

A proactive approach to identifying opportunities, researching prospects and following up consistently.

Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage activities and maintain accurate records.

A customer-focused mindset and an interest in understanding customer needs.

A willingness to learn, take feedback on board and develop new commercial skills.

An understanding of the importance of following company processes, customer approval requirements and appropriate escalation procedures.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey. We offer a benefits package that includes competitive annual leave entitlement with a fantastic holiday buy scheme, pension and life assurance along with access to an employee benefits platform that offers discounts on gym memberships and money off vouchers for a diverse range of retail, travel and hospitality brands. There’s no doubt that you will be compensated for your hard work and commitment so if you’d like to work for one of the top Logistics providers in the world then please do get in touch to find your next role.
