Industrial controler - COEX Plant (FRANCE)

Reports directly to the Management Control Manager and functionally to the Site Director.

Works closely with all departments at the site.

Liaises with the CNHi Group’s finance departments (accounting and management control) and legal departments.

Maintains relationships with suppliers and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Budget: Based on scenarios involving activities/events that impact the company:

• Prepare the budget according to the Group’s methodology (IWB)
• Review and approval with the Plant Manager and the CDG Manager
• Prepare the presentation for the Group

Reporting (Monthly Closing)

• Collect data from the various departments involved, in accordance with defined technical procedures; prepare and justify provisions.
• Prepare the monthly report, analyze the data, and provide commentary to the group and site management.

Monitoring Stock

• Interpret physical and accounting flows: measure variances; draft comments.
• Calculate obsolescence provisions and coordinate the follow-up on corrective actions,
• Monitor the cyclical inventory process in accordance with Group procedures (SOX)

Standard Costs: Based on information provided by departments:

• Configure financial data in the production system (ERP): costs of purchased parts, transportation, hourly rates, exchange rates.
• Make necessary configuration changes to adjust the calculation of manufacturing standards and the cost of finished goods.

Monitoring of overhead costs, in support of the work-study student:

• Track expenses and orders, and identify discrepancies related to plant operations and projects; verify accounting allocations; resolve supplier issues.
• Update, monitor (by researching information), and review financial analysis tools and indicators. Calculate and record necessary provisions.
• Outside of the procurement process, update supplier bank information and prepare customer invoices (material repurchases, etc.).

Internal and external audits

• Provide support during various group audits
• Prepare and submit the necessary documentation to external auditors (SOX).

Participate in continuous improvement projects

• Provide support in identifying sources of losses and calculating potential gains.
• Create and distribute IT tools to collect financial information.
• Support project leaders in implementing the project and achieving financial objectives.
