Welcome to Codasip

AtCodasip, we’re redefining the future of computing. Following a bold strategic pivot toward cyber-resilient semiconductor architectures, we are building next-generation processors and systems where security is embedded at the very core by design, not as an afterthought. As we expand our portfolio of secure, CHERI-enabled technologies and focus on delivering architecture-first security solutions, there has never been a more exciting time to join.

We are embarking on clean-sheet designs and expanding the teams of engineers who can establish high-quality working practices as they explore new ground. Be part of a global team shaping the next era of secure computing where innovation, ownership, and impact go hand in hand.

The impact you’ll make

Own technical product and process compliance across our semiconductor, SoC, IP, hardware and software products.

Translate automotive, aerospace, defence, safety and security regulatory requirements into engineering activities, compliance plans, evidence and readiness gates.

Perform or direct independent product and process assurance: technical compliance reviews, confirmation reviews, process and readiness assessments.

Ensure credible, traceable compliance evidence and escalate gaps, deviations and residual risks early with clear recommendations.

Develop reusable safety and security concepts that project architects adapt to product-specific designs.

Standardize compliance-related processes, and coach teams, while domain experts retain process ownership.

Directly manage, coach, and grow a team of Product Compliance Engineers.

Represent Codasip on technical product compliance with customers, assessors, auditors, and certification authorities.

What You Bring to The Table

  • 10+ years in automotive, aerospace or defence engineering, including five years in product assurance, certification, or safety- or cybersecurity-related process development.
  • Strong technical expertise in semiconductor, SoC, ASIC, FPGA, IP, or embedded hardware/software development.
  • Experience leading technical projects, mentoring engineers and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
  • Ability to translate standards and customer requirements into engineering practices, compliance evidence and independent assurance activities.
  • Experience standardising processes, coaching teams and engaging customers, assessors, auditors or certification authorities.
  • Sound judgment, integrity and clear communication to challenge evidence, influence stakeholders and escalate risks.
  • A relevant engineering degree and willingness to travel periodically.

Preferred

  • Aerospace or defence development-assurance experience, such as DO-254 or DO-178C.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Polarion, Git or equivalent tools.
  • We welcome principal engineers and technical leads moving into their first people-management role. Previous line-management experience is advantageous, not essential.

Our UK Design Centers

Our UK design centres in Cambridge and Bristol, launched in early 2022, are driving innovation in cutting-edge RISC-V CPU development. We’re designing secure, high-performance processors from scratch – and our customers in safety- and security-critical markets such as aerospace and defence need proof they can trust them.

That’s where you come in. As our Product Compliance & Assurance Manager, reporting to the Quality & Compliance Senior Manager, you’ll set the bar for how we demonstrate safety, security and compliance on a brand-new platform – and build the capability to do it at scale.

You’ll work with an international team across Europe, partnering with architecture, hardware, software, verification and security experts. If you’re a rigorous, pragmatic assurance professional who wants to shape how next-generation silicon earns trust, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us in Cambridge or Bristol and be part of a team redefining what’s possible in CPU design and cyber-resilient semiconductor architectures.
