Job Description Design, develop, test, and maintain applications on the IBM i (AS400) platform. Develop and enhance programs using RPG IV, ILE RPG, Free-Format RPG, Fixed format RPG ,CLLE, and SQLRPGLE. Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions. Create and maintain database objects, including Physical Files, Logical Files, SQL Tables, Views, and Indexes. Develop and maintain batch, online, and interface programs.
Perform unit testing and integration testing. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards. Prepare technical design documents and support documentation. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance. Experience with debugging tools such as STRDBG and job logs. Familiarity with source control and change management tools.
