About the role As a Senior Consultant, Project Delivery , you will make an impact by driving business transformation initiatives from requirements discovery through project delivery. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams, project sponsors, and cross-functional partners to ensure solutions meet business objectives and projects are delivered successfully.

In this role, you will: Gather, document, and validate business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis Translate business needs into functional specifications, technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and workflow documentation Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and stakeholder communication Manage testing activities, UAT coordination, project risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure successful implementation of solutions Work model – Onsite At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring time in a client or Cognizant office. The working arrangements for this role are accurate as of the date of posting. What you must have to be considered 8 - 10 years of proven experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management roles Strong experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications Strong process analysis skills with the ability to identify gaps, risks, and process improvement opportunities Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business documentation Experience supporting testing activities, including test case creation, UAT coordination, defect management, and solution validation Experience leading end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting Experience developing project plans, timelines, status reports, and risk management artifacts Experience managing project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills Excellent communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills These will help you succeed Experience leading business transformation, process optimization, or digital transformation initiatives Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments Experience preparing executive reporting, project dashboards, and governance documentation Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to support business decisions Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities Strong change management and organizational readiness capabilities Ability to build strong working relationships across business and technology organizations Experience coordinating geographically distributed teams and stakeholders Key Responsibilities Gather, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and data analysis Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements or automation opportunities Develop process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow documentation Support testing activities by creating test cases, coordinating UAT, and validating results Partner with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives and user expectations Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring Develop project plans, timelines, risk logs, and status reports for stakeholders and leadership Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and timely completion of deliverables Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change requests to maintain project health Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure clear communication across teams Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget Salary and Other Compensation : Applications will be accepted until 11/14/2026 The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - 116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
