Title : SR Data Tester – (Azure Databricks) Seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst with experience in Data Testing, Test Automation, Azure Databricks, Azure DevOps (ADO) Pipelines, Data Quality Validation (DQL), and AI-assisted testing using Claude AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, LLM Model code review and testing, automating test execution, and supporting CI/CD processes for enterprise data platforms.
This role requires close collaboration with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Analysis Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and data mapping documents. Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts. Identify test data requirements and coordinate test environment setup.
Participate in requirement reviews to identify testing risks and gaps. Databricks Data Testing Validate data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes within Azure Databricks. Perform ETL/ELT testing across Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers. Validate PySpark transformations and Databricks SQL queries. Reconcile source-to-target data and verify data accuracy and completeness. Test batch processing and real-time data pipelines.
Test Automation Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data validation. Automate regression, smoke, and sanity testing activities.
