Join Colgate-Palmolive, a caring, innovative growth company reimagining a healthier future for people, their pets, and our planet. Guided by our core values—Caring, Inclusive, and Courageous—we foster a culture that inspires our people to achieve common goals. Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all.

This role develops the overarching category strategy and roadmap to deliver our financial goals and KPIs. It orchestrates the delivery of major initiatives and the flawless execution of the 7P guidelines (i.e. 5Ps + people+persuasion) to support the commercial plan. This role partners with Customer Development Teams (CDT’s) on major customer-specific activations and initiatives to support the delivery of both longer-term strategic category growth and current period performance vs. targets. This role leads the category’s Revenue Growth Management (RGM) efforts and partners with Brand and Digital Marketing to create seamless ODG experiences across the commercial organisation.

Responsibilities

Integrated Category Strategy & Vision

Develop and lead the integrated category strategy; including the key initiatives, and action plan, maintaining accountability for performance against established financial targets.

Translate the Category Vision into clear, actionable 7P guidelines x Retail Environment (People Journeys, Product, Price, Promotion, Placement, POP, Persuasion) and lead the development of the Pricing P’s (Price, Promotion).

Drive new growth by proactively mining market data, shopper insights, and competitor intelligence to identify 'white space' opportunities and emerging trends. Follow through by building compelling business cases and creating customer narratives to support strategic pivots and seize opportunities across all customers and Retail Environments (RE).

Own and implement Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives to drive strategic pricing growth (vs. target) for the category.

Operational Excellence & Performance Management

Lead the key category events that occur throughout the Commercial Calendar (e.g. RGM workshops, internal Consensus Reviews incl. the roll-up of CDT estimates, Budget Review/Mid Year Review preparation etc).

Manage the monthly discipline process by delivering comprehensive performance reports, identifying key opportunities or risks, and recommending necessary corrective actions to stay on plan.

Act as the primary category authority and provide commercial credibility to Customer Development Teams (CDT’s) during critical meetings and milestones (e.g. category reviews, store of the future, trade engagement days etc).

Lead and develop a team of 2 direct reports by driving a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and commercial curiosity.
