Engineering Manager

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers and developers.
• Oversee the planning, development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
• Manage engineering projects, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and performance of applications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Drive engineering best practices, Agile methodologies, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and project bottlenecks.
• Participate in system architecture and technical design decisions.
• Conduct performance reviews and support team development and hiring.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing engineering culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of software development experience, including 2–4 years in engineering leadership or management.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++.
• Experience with software architecture, system design, and microservices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with databases, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
