Docker Engineer

• Design, build, and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
• Create and maintain Dockerfiles and Docker Compose configurations.
• Build, test, and optimize Docker images for performance and security.
• Manage containerized applications across development, testing, and production environments.
• Work with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage applications using container orchestration platforms.
• Troubleshoot container-related issues, networking problems, and deployment failures.
• Implement container security best practices and vulnerability scanning.
• Manage Docker registries and container image repositories.
• Monitor container performance, resource utilization, and application health.
• Collaborate with developers to improve application deployment workflows.
• Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Hands-on experience creating and managing Docker containers.
• Knowledge of Dockerfiles, Docker Images, Volumes, and Networks.
• Experience with Docker Compose.
• Understanding of Linux and command-line operations.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Ports).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
