Data Analyst - Dublin

Dublin, Ireland Hybrid Full-time

Specialising in the Sports Betting & Gaming (SBG) industry, Xtremepush enables businesses to drive growth and enhance customer experiences through data-driven insights, personalisation, and omni-channel marketing. We also partner with organisations in financial services and other regulated sectors.

Our innovative Customer Data Platform and engagement tools help organisations create highly targeted campaigns, optimise conversions, and maximise revenue. Xtremepush is the only platform that combines real-time CDP, Omnichannel Activation, AI Optimisation, Gamification Engine, and Advanced Intelligence in a single platform. About the role We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to maintain the predictive models that power customer decisioning, determining which customers to prioritise and how to personalise their experience.

Working across a number of clients, you will set the data structure and attribute requirements the wider team builds to, creating a foundation that supports simple models today and more sophisticated modelling as data volume and maturity grow. You will work closely with business users and technical stakeholders. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin. #LI-Hybrid Own production models end to end, including churn, customer lifetime value (CLV), propensity and similar customer models.

Validate performance against holdout data and live outcomes, and monitor models for drift, bias and degradation. Define the data structure, entities and attribute design across each client’s full customer dataset, and document the data requirements that our Data Modeller implements and maintains. Identify data gaps and quality issues, and agree fixes with client and internal teams. Document models, features and assumptions to a standard suitable for a regulated environment.

Explain model results clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and feed learnings back to Product to help shape the product roadmap. 5+ years’ experience in an ML-focused role, ideally in financial services or another regulated sector. A degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, mathematics or economics. A track record of building, deploying and maintaining customer models in live environments, not just for research purposes.

Strong Python, plus experience with common ML libraries. Advanced SQL, including window functions, complex joins and query optimisation. Strong data modelling skills, including dimensional modelling, fact and dimension design, and handling data that changes over time. Experience with ClickHouse or another columnar database, including table design, ordering keys, partitioning, and choosing between materialized views and scheduled refreshes.

Solid grounding in model and data validation, including metric selection, holdout design, calibration and reconciling results against source data. Experience defining and documenting metrics so they are used consistently, and building BI dashboards and the datasets behind them, ideally in Metabase. Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS or Snowflake. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent written communication.

Desirable Experience with customer engagement, CRM or marketing decisioning platforms, or with marketing and campaign data. Experience with MLOps tooling, such as experiment tracking, model registries and CI/CD for models. dbt or a similar SQL modelling framework, using Git for version control. Experience with MySQL as a source system. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin.
