Summary

• We are seeking a FEA Application Engineer for our Dubai, UAE office. In
• this role, by using Ansys FEA products, in the day-by-day job you will:
• •Function as a
• specialist in the use and application of Ansys Structural simulation tools (Ansys

Mechanical)

• •Support the
• sales team in the engagement with the Customers from the technical point of
• view, participating in meetings, performing live presentations as well as demo
• cases, and developing case studies to show the Customers how the Ansys
• solutions can help them to improve their productivity and revenue

•Provide

• technical support and training for Customers in middle east region by
• responding to Customer inquiries, guiding them through challenging industrial
• applications and recommending the most appropriate simulation usage

•Carryout

Consulting Projects for customers in the middle east area

•Execute

projects and actively participate in R&D projects to support the Customers’

design/engineering processes.

Key

Duties and Responsibilities

•Provide

high-quality, efficient post-sales and technical support through email and

telephone

•Develop

technical support repositories that help Ansys customers to be more productive

and efficient

•Create

elegant and useful solutions to solve complex problems by working across

various teams and understanding the needs of our customers

•Lead/Assist

• in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales
• opportunity such as customer meetings and product presentations, demonstrations
• and evaluations
• •Create and
• demonstrate simulation solutions to streamline Customer workflows, in support
• of the software sales process

•Be

• responsible for articulating Ansys’ value proposition which may encompass its
• entire suite of products for various industry segments; the presentations must
• affirm the sales message, differentiate Ansys, and leave a strong and positive
• impression to audiences which can include senior company executives

•Work

• independently to analyze technical needs, requirements, and state of a customers’
• current infrastructure, operations, and engineering workflows
• •Develop and
• strengthen long-term relationships with customers

•Work

• collaboratively with Customers to ensure their successful use of ANSYS
• products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate opportunities to
• expand software licenses.

Requirements

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and

Experience

• •Hold a B.Sc/Msc.
• (Eng) in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering
• •Have a strong
• background in Structural and Thermal engineering.
• •Have a
• minimum of 1 year of proven experience in solving Structural Engineering
• problems using ANSYS tools for Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• •Have an
• overall culture in Structural Analysis (Static Structural, Linear, Non-Linear,
• Spectrum, Harmonic, Random Vibration, Explicit Dynamics…).

•Knowledge

about ANSYS Spaceclaim/ Discovery.

•Have

• demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent English
• •Have strong
• interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and
• conduct webinars and presentations to Customers
• •Have a
• logical problem-solving approach and the ability to communicate the situation
• and proposed solution to the Customer in a clear manner
• •Possess a
• sense of urgency, dedication, and strong organizational and follow-up skills
• •Have an
• engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous
• learning
• •Project a
• professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
• •Have the
• ability to travel up to 20%.
