New Glasgow, Canada In person Full-time

On behalf of our client, Stingray Radio, we are looking for a Media Sales Strategist to join their team in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, supporting businesses throughout Northeastern Nova Scotia.

About Our Client

Stingray is one of Canada's leading music, media, and technology companies, connecting businesses with audiences through an innovative portfolio of radio, digital, streaming, social, video, search, and advertising solutions.

Home to popular Pictou County radio stations 94.1 The Breeze and Q97.9, Stingray offers businesses access to an incredible range of marketing opportunities, both locally and across its nationwide network.

Their team is passionate about creativity, collaboration, and helping businesses succeed through innovative, results-driven advertising strategies. If you're looking for a career where you can make meaningful connections, support your local community, and work with one of Canada's leading multimedia companies, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

The Opportunity

Build relationships. Bring ideas to life. Help local businesses grow.

As a Media Sales Strategist, you'll work directly with business owners throughout Pictou County and Northeastern Nova Scotia to develop customized marketing strategies that deliver real results.

You'll represent two well-known local radio stations, 94.1 The Breeze and Q97.9, while having access to Stingray's extensive multimedia portfolio, including radio, digital advertising, connected TV, YouTube, search, social media, programmatic advertising, and more.

This is a role for someone who enjoys getting out into the community, meeting new people, and identifying opportunities to help businesses succeed. You'll manage and grow client relationships, develop new business, and bring creative advertising ideas to life.

You'll also play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the New Glasgow Sales Department, working closely with colleagues across Stingray's creative, programming, promotions, and digital teams.

With the strength of a national media company behind you and the opportunity to become a familiar face in the local business community, you'll have the tools and support to build a rewarding sales career.

The Ideal Candidate

You love connecting with people, enjoy a good challenge, and get genuinely excited about helping businesses succeed.

Whether your background is in media sales, digital marketing, account management, or consultative B2B sales, you know how to build relationships, ask the right questions, and turn ideas into opportunities.

You're confident presenting solutions to business owners, comfortable managing your own schedule, and motivated by achieving results. You enjoy prospecting and developing new business, but you also understand the value of building lasting client relationships.

You're organized, accountable, and able to balance sales activities with the administrative responsibilities that keep everything running smoothly.

Most importantly, you're excited about becoming part of the Pictou County business community and building a successful career with a company that values creativity, collaboration, and initiative.
