Koantek Technology/Software

Director of Delivery - Learning and Enablement

Hyderabad, India In person Full-time

Role overview

Koantek is seeking a technically credible learning and enablement leader to build a consistently high-performing, customer-ready delivery organization across the US and India. You will own internal capability development and work closely with Databricks Learning and Enablement teams to turn partner training opportunities into structured programs that improve delivery performance.

This role combines technical delivery experience, program execution and coaching. Success requires developing engineers and delivery leaders who can solve problems under ambiguity, communicate effectively with customers and own outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Build delivery capability
  • Create role-based learning paths for Databricks FDEs, data engineers, AI engineers and scientists, solution architects, technical leads and technical project managers.
  • Build structured onboarding, upskilling and leadership development programs aligned with customer engagements, technical standards and business priorities.
  • Strengthen hands-on technical skills, solution design, troubleshooting, scoping, customer communication, stakeholder management and ownership of delivery outcomes.
  • Own Databricks partner enablement
  • Build and maintain close relationships with Databricks Learning and Enablement teams and relevant partner stakeholders to understand available partner training programs, certifications, technical bootcamps and product enablement.
  • Translate relevant Databricks offerings into internal learning paths and programs; coordinate external training with practical labs, internal workshops and application on delivery scenarios.
  • Own the enablement calendar, enrollment, participation, completion and assessments across both regions. Coordinate with delivery and resource management leaders to protect learning time around project commitments.
  • Keep internal programs current as Databricks capabilities and partner enablement offerings evolve, and share feedback on Koantek’s delivery learning needs.
  • Own ecosystem certification requirements across US and India. Confirm required certification counts, role coverage and deadlines with partner stakeholders; maintain a certification tracker, close coverage gaps and manage renewals before expiry.
  • Validate readiness and coach performance
  • Establish a common quality bar using coding assessments, hands-on labs, solution reviews and simulated customer scenarios. Verify applied capability alongside training completion and certifications.
  • Partner with delivery leaders, technical interview panels and resource managers to identify skill gaps and assess readiness for customer deployment and progression to senior roles.
  • Turn customer feedback, project escalations and interview findings into targeted coaching and measurable development plans.
  • Enable adoption of Koantek internal IP
  • Partner closely with the CTO and solution owners to translate Koantek’s internal IP solutions, accelerators and frameworks into structured enablement for US and India delivery teams.
  • Own release-aligned training, hands-on labs, demonstrations, deployment guides and delivery playbooks covering use cases, architecture, implementation, limitations and support paths. Validate technical content with the CTO and solution owners.
  • Koantek | Delivery Learning and Enablement
  • Build a network of solution champions, verify practitioner readiness and coach teams on applying internal IP to suitable customer engagements. Feed adoption barriers and delivery lessons back to the CTO to improve solutions and training.
  • Scale programs across US and India
  • Run a coordinated enablement model across time zones, with regional coaches, technical mentors and subject matter experts who can scale learning delivery.
  • Capture reusable delivery patterns, project lessons and technical knowledge in an accessible internal knowledge base.
  • Maintain skills and readiness visibility, track program effectiveness and report progress, gaps and priorities to delivery leadership.
  • Required qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of experience in technical consulting, data engineering, cloud, AI or enterprise delivery, including experience leading learning, enablement or capability development programs.
  • Hands-on technical credibility and a strong understanding of customer delivery in a data and AI services organization.
  • A demonstrated ability to design and run technical programs that improve applied skills, deployment readiness and delivery performance.
  • Experience leading distributed teams or programs across the US and India, with the ability to coordinate across time zones.
  • Strong assessment, coaching, facilitation and program management skills, with the ability to hold participants and stakeholders accountable.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with technology partner enablement teams and translate partner offerings into internal programs.
  • Experience turning proprietary technical solutions into practical training, reusable delivery guidance and measurable adoption.

Preferred qualifications

  • Databricks delivery experience and relevant certifications, with familiarity with the Databricks partner ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting FDEs, data engineers, AI practitioners, architects and technical project managers in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience building a mentor network and a scalable enablement function in a growing technology services company.
  • Success measures
  • Meet 100% of applicable ecosystem certification requirements by agreed deadlines, including Databricks partner requirements. Track required versus active certifications by role and region, and maintain compliance through timely renewals.
  • Faster onboarding and time to customer deployment, measured against agreed baselines.
  • Improved technical assessment results and demonstrated readiness for customer-facing and senior delivery roles.
  • Strong participation and completion of relevant Databricks and internal programs, with evidence of applied learning.
  • Improved customer feedback and fewer escalations attributable to capability or readiness gaps.
  • Consistent delivery standards and clear skills visibility across US and India teams.
  • Adoption of Koantek internal IP on suitable engagements, practitioner readiness and time from solution release to team enablement, measured against agreed targets.
  • First 90 days
  • Assess skills, learning needs and existing programs across both regions, and establish baseline success measures.
  • Build relationships with Databricks Learning and Enablement teams and map relevant partner offerings to Koantek’s delivery priorities.
  • Validate ecosystem certification requirements, baseline current coverage and launch a plan to close gaps and manage upcoming renewals.
  • Map priority internal IP with the CTO, identify adoption gaps and launch enablement for the highest-priority solutions.
  • Launch a prioritized enablement calendar, pilot role-based learning paths and practical readiness assessments, and establish a regular leadership review cadence.
