New York City, NY In person Full-time

Location: NY - New York, 55 W 46th St, FL 33 & 34

Universal Ads, a part of Comcast, enables any brand, of any size, to seamlessly make and buy commercials across premium video reaching new qualified audiences at scale. Universal Ads combines premium and brand-safe video content directly from the most influential media companies with the ease and familiarity of social ad buying. It is your one-stop shop for high-quality video ads delivering performance and unmatched scale.

Job Summary

Universal Ads is building a new way for businesses to access premium video and CTV inventory at scale. As we expand, we are looking for a senior, entrepreneurial seller to grow our business across SMB agencies, lead-generation partners, and multi-location home and professional services brands.

This is an early-stage, high-impact role for a seller who is energized by building. The right candidate will scale an existing customer segment, sharpen our market positioning, deepen client relationships, and turn early momentum into repeatable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the CTV landscape and why premium video works for this customer base. This person should be equally comfortable opening new doors, developing senior client relationships, translating market feedback into product insights, and helping Universal Ads scale a proven sales motion for businesses focused on downstream outcomes.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious, highly strategic seller to help grow an important customer segment for a young and growing media platform.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of how SMBs, multi-location service brands and lead generation businesses evaluate media performance across their customer lifecycle and how TV can unlock new demand
  • Partner closely with leadership to grow the Performance Advertising segment, identifying the highest-potential accounts and building a clear go-to-market strategy across all three buyer types above.
  • Activate priority client targets, develop a qualified pipeline, and turn early market momentum into durable revenue growth.
  • Help evolve how Universal Ads should sell into each of the three segments, including positioning, pitch narrative, measurement approach, industry presence, and account prioritization.
  • Translate CTV's downstream effects into a credible performance narrative for advertisers historically anchored in search, social, and other lower-funnel channels.
  • Work closely with CSM, product, measurement, partnerships, marketing, and leadership to ensure our roadmap supports the needs of performance-minded marketers.
  • Speak credibly with sophisticated performance marketers and quickly identify what Universal Ads needs to prove in order to earn budget.
  • Educate customers on how CTV and premium video complement existing performance channels, including paid social, search, affiliate, programmatic, and other customer acquisition channels.
  • Represent Universal Ads with customers and at industry events with credibility, confidence, and a strong understanding of the SMB and performance advertising ecosystem.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and be energized by the opportunity to help shape a business, not just inherit an existing playbook.

Preferred Experience

  • 6+ years of direct sales experience in SMB performance / growth marketing, search, or related advertising sales. TV/CTV + performance marketing sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of measurement frameworks, including pixel-based attribution, platform reporting, incrementality testing, geo tests, conversion lift studies, and measurement triangulation.
  • Ability to translate premium video and CTV into a credible performance narrative for advertisers that have historically been anchored in search, social, affiliate, and lower-funnel channels.
  • Strong understanding of performance media buying behavior, attribution challenges, creative testing, optimization, and how businesses and agencies allocate and scale budget.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, early-stage, or build-oriented environment preferred.
  • Ability to develop engaging narratives and storytelling in an industry rooted in numbers, measurement, and performance outcomes.
