Description
- The Office of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse Control operates within Kentucky's Office of Attorney General. It is
- the premiere law enforcement agency which investigates and prosecutes cases of Medicaid fraud by medical
- providers as well as cases of adult abuse and neglect within medical facilities, long term care facilities,
- and room and board homes.
- The Office seeks an attorney who has exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills to
- handle a complex litigation caseload containing both fraud, neglect and abuse cases.
- Candidates will have the ability to work with a team of other lawyers, investigators, and auditors to fully
- develop cases for prosecution.
Job Duties
- Drafting indictments, civil complaints, and briefs
- Performing case-related research
- Seeking indictments before grand juries
- Arguing motions
- Conducting trials
- This position is best suited for those with strong advocacy skills who wish to seek justice on behalf of
- Kentucky's most vulnerable citizens as well its taxpayers.
