Position Overview
CEBA is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and mission-driven Manager to shape our state and regional policy efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping market structures to accelerate clean energy deployment, advancing clean firm resources, and amplifying the voice of large energy customers across Western electricity markets.
CEBA represents over 300 influential energy buyers and providers—spanning hyperscalers, manufacturers, retailers, and heavy industry—with a combined market cap exceeding $40 trillion. Together, we’re driving systemic change toward a low-cost, reliable, and carbon emissions-free grid.
Reporting to the Director of Western Policy, the Manager will support CEBA’s Western programs, state and regional strategy, and external engagement with policymakers, regulators, and CEBA members. This role also includes assisting the Director of Western Policy with funding development to execute the long-term vision for CEBA’s impact in the West.
This role requires strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with external partners. The Manager will work closely with other members of the Policy Team, CEBA’s Communications team, and external consultants to drive policy, market, or programmatic efforts that align with CEBA's mission. They will manage projects from inception to execution, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and support CEBA's advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies.
