COMPANY OVERVIEW
Craftwork is building a modern, technology-enabled home services company, starting with residential painting. We employ our painters full-time and manage the entire customer experience using proprietary software, which allows us to consistently deliver excellent quality and service while creating meaningful careers in the trades.
Founded in 2023, Craftwork currently operates in Charlotte and Raleigh, with plans to expand into three new markets over the next 12 months. We’ve grown to nearly 80 employees and have raised over $25M from investors including Y Combinator, Seven Seven Six, Slow Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, General Catalyst, and Lachy Groom.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Craftwork is looking for a Brand Design Intern to help bring our brand to life through thoughtful, consistent design that supports our next stage of growth.
As we expand into new markets, the way Craftwork shows up in neighborhoods, online, and throughout the customer experience will help us build awareness and trust. This person will support the creation of materials that make Craftwork recognizable, communicate our services clearly, and reflect the quality and care we bring to our work. You’ll contribute to projects across digital and print, including marketing campaigns, social content, local events, and customer-facing materials.
A central part of this role will be working closely with the marketing team to turn ideas and business needs into effective creative work. You’ll help develop concepts, carry designs through revisions and final production, and adapt existing assets for different channels and markets. Along the way, you’ll help maintain organized design files and reusable templates that make it easier for teams to produce consistent materials as Craftwork grows.
This is a hands-on role for an emerging designer who is curious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn through real projects. The right person will bring a strong visual foundation, take initiative, and be comfortable asking questions, sharing work, and incorporating feedback. You’ll have the opportunity to build your craft while contributing to a growing brand and seeing how your designs help customers understand, trust, and choose Craftwork.
