CreditorWatch Technology/Software

Partnerships Lead (SaaS)

Sydney, Australia Hybrid Full-time

Who are we? 👋 CreditorWatch is entering its next chapter — and it’s an exciting one. We’re a leading Australian data and technology company transforming how businesses manage commercial risk, make credit decisions and improve cash flow. Since 2010, we’ve built a strong position in the market, helping thousands of businesses make smarter decisions through our data, insights and technology. Following our acquisition by global private equity firm Warburg Pincus, we have a new opportunity to build on that success and take the business to the next level.

With an established platform, ambitious growth plans and plenty of opportunity ahead, we’re focused on scaling our impact and shaping what comes next. We’re also proud to have been recognised as one of the AFR’s Top 10 Best Places to Work and certified by Great Place to Work across 2022–2025. For people who want to make a meaningful impact in a growing business, this is an opportunity worth exploring. Our Purpose ✅ Empower Australian businesses to trade confidently with their customers.

Our Mission 🏆 We aim to be number one in our industry by delivering unique data insights and innovative products. Your role & team 🚀 A new opportunity to build something from the ground up! We're looking for a Partner Lead to establish and scale CreditorWatch's partner channel, creating a consistent, measurable source of new business across our SMB and Corporate segments. We already have a number of partner relationships in place, but they're largely opportunistic and relationship-led.

There's an opportunity to bring structure, strategy and commercial focus to how we work with partners — and turn those relationships into a meaningful growth channel. This is our first dedicated partnerships hire, so you'll have genuine ownership from day one. You'll define the strategy, shape the partner program and personally identify, negotiate and secure the partnerships that will drive results. From industry associations and franchise groups to advisory firms and technology platforms, you'll build relationships that create value for our partners, their customers and CreditorWatch.

This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role. We're looking for someone who's built a partner channel before, understands what makes partnerships commercially successful and is just as comfortable setting the strategy as picking up the phone and closing the deal. You'll have the opportunity to shape an emerging capability, work closely with our Sales, Marketing, Product and RevOps teams, and see a direct connection between the partnerships you build and the revenue they generate. 📍 Location: Sydney CBD 💼 Working arrangements: Full-time, hybrid 🤝 Reporting to: General Manager, SMB & Corporate What you'll own 🔍 🧭 Build our partner strategy & program Develop and own the partnerships strategy across SMB and Corporate, prioritising opportunities based on audience overlap, lead potential and speed to revenue.

Assess existing partner relationships and determine which to formalise, grow or move on from. Design the partner program from the ground up, including value proposition, partner tiers, commercial models, agreements and performance expectations. Establish a clear roadmap, with defined milestones and measures of success across the first 90 days, six months and beyond. 🤝 Win and commercialise new partnerships Personally identify, prospect, pitch, negotiate and secure priority partners across associations, franchise groups, industry bodies, advisory firms and technology platforms.

Build compelling value propositions that create a clear commercial benefit for CreditorWatch, our partners and their members or customers. Assess each opportunity based on audience size, customer alignment and revenue potential, focusing effort where the commercial upside is strongest. Own the partner pipeline from initial conversation and commercial negotiation through to signed agreement and first closed deal. 🚀 Turn partnerships into pipeline Develop joint go-to-market plans with partners, including campaigns, content, events, offers and referral programs.

Establish clear lead routing, handover processes and SLAs with Sales to ensure partner leads are followed up quickly and consistently. Equip partners with the messaging, tools and training they need to confidently promote CreditorWatch. Build repeatable activation playbooks that turn successful partnerships into scalable sources of new business. 📊 Drive performance & cross-functional alignment Bring together Sales, Marketing, Product, RevOps, Finance and Legal to take partnerships from initial opportunity through to revenue.

Establish partner scorecards and regular performance reviews, tracking lead generation, conversion, pipeline and revenue. Monitor partner performance, identify risks and take action where activation, lead quality or commercial outcomes aren't meeting expectations. Maintain strong CRM discipline and provide accurate forecasting of partner-sourced pipeline and revenue. What success looks like in your first six months 🏁 A clear partner strategy: A defined approach to prioritising partner types, target audiences and commercial opportunities across SMB and Corporate.

A functioning partner program: The foundations are in place, including partner tiers, commercial models, agreements, onboarding and performance tracking. Partners signed and activated: You've personally secured priority partnerships and moved them beyond signed agreements into active go-to-market plans. Pipeline generation: Partner relationships are delivering qualified leads, demos and measurable pipeline for our Sales teams.

Commercial traction: Early partner-sourced revenue is coming through, with a clear view of what's working and where to double down. A repeatable model: There's a clear process for identifying, signing, activating and scaling the next wave of partners. What you'll bring 🧠 Partnerships experience: 5+ years in B2B partnerships, channel or alliance roles, with direct accountability for commercial outcomes and revenue. Builder mindset: You've built a partner program or channel from scratch, or taken informal relationships and turned them into a structured, commercially successful operation.

Commercial execution: You've personally originated, negotiated and closed partnerships — not just managed an inherited portfolio. Revenue impact: A track record of measurable partner-sourced revenue, pipeline growth or channel contribution to overall sales. Sales alignment: Experience turning partnerships into a consistent flow of qualified leads and opportunities for a direct sales team. Commercial negotiation: Comfortable working through referral fees, commissions, revenue share, white-label or API pricing, and partnering with Legal and Finance to structure agreements.

Stakeholder influence: Confident engaging senior external stakeholders, including CEOs, association leaders and business owners, while influencing internal teams without direct authority. Analytical approach: You use data to prioritise opportunities, assess partner performance and understand where the commercial value sits. Ownership & drive: You're self-directed, persistent and comfortable operating independently, with the resilience to keep momentum and see deals through to close.

Industry experience: Background in financial services, credit, payments, fintech or B2B SaaS will be highly relevant. A note on AI ✨ Use it. We'd think less of you if you didn't. We see AI as an opportunity to improve how we work, and we're interested in people who are already experimenting with it in practical ways. Write the first draft of your application yourself, then use AI to sharpen it rather than replace your thinking.

You can also expect to use AI during at least one stage of the interview process. We're interested in how you work with it, not whether you can work without it. The perks?
