Role Summary

The Revenue Data Operations Specialist carries out repeatable data operations across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and connected revenue platforms. The role maintains CRM data, processes enrichment and matching work, supports approved seller and event activities, and monitors routine data processes. The Specialist works within documented procedures and escalates cases that require business judgment, governance decisions, or review of downstream impacts.

Core Responsibilities

CRM Data Stewardship

  • Maintain account and contact data in D365 Sales, correcting incomplete, inconsistent, duplicate, or mismatched records using approved sources and rules.
  • Maintain external identifiers and perform defined account and client reconciliation to support enrichment, integrations, reporting, and automation.

Enrichment and Integration Operations

  • Match CRM records to approved third-party sources, process standard enrichment results, and validate completed work.
  • Monitor scheduled integrations and data processes; resolve documented exceptions and escalate unexplained failures or conflicting results.

Revenue Activation Support

  • Prepare, cleanse, match, and validate approved event and outreach data; add approved CRM attributes and upload audiences to supported platforms such as Outreach.
  • Process standardized event data and responses using established business criteria and routing decisions.

Quality and Process Support

  • Follow documented procedures, data standards, service expectations, and quality controls; maintain job aids and operating procedures.
  • Identify recurring exceptions and unclear steps, document findings, and support cross-training and process improvements.

Decision and Escalation Boundaries

  • Complete work independently when documented procedures and business rules clearly define the action.
  • Escalate ambiguous cases, conflicting source data, work outside established standards, or changes that could affect historical records, reporting, attribution, integrations, or downstream processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least two years of experience in CRM data operations, data quality, data stewardship, sales or marketing operations, or a related field.
  • Experience maintaining structured data, including data matching, validation, reconciliation, enrichment, or quality review.
  • Strong Excel skills and careful, consistent execution of documented processes and controls.
  • Clear written communication, sound organization, and the ability to manage recurring assignments while meeting quality expectations.
  • Experience with D365 Sales or another CRM, Outreach or similar engagement tools, and data providers such as ZoomInfo, Dun & Bradstreet, or S&P is preferred. The role should be comfortable learning related marketing automation, integration, data quality, and reporting tools.
