Video Editor / Videographer

We are the World’s No.1 LIVE Crypto streaming channel covering Bitcoin, breaking news, hottest stories, altcoins, top founders and billionaires’ next big market moves, every single day. We're looking for a creative, technically strong and crypto-native Video Editor / Videographer to join our Cape Town team. You'll be responsible for capturing and producing engaging video content across our media channels from live crypto shows and market commentary to YouTube features, viral social clips and behind-the-scenes content.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that in crypto, timing matters. You need to know how to turn market moments, trading insights and strong opinions into content that captures attention and drives engagement. What you'll be doing: Shoot and produce: Film live shows, interviews, studio content and other Crypto Banter productions. Edit end-to-end: Take ownership of the entire production process, from filming and storyboarding to editing, sound and final delivery.

Create social-first content: Turn long-form shows and discussions into engaging short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X. Capture crypto narratives: Identify compelling moments from market discussions, breaking news, trading calls and industry debates to create content people want to watch and share. Leverage AI: Use AI-powered editing and production tools to accelerate workflows, automate repetitive tasks and push creative boundaries.

Maintain quality and speed: Deliver high-quality content with fast turnaround times in a fast-moving crypto media environment. Collaborate: Work closely with presenters, researchers, traders and the wider content team to bring ideas to life. What we're looking for: A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating both filming and editing capabilities. Proven experience in video production, including camera operation, lighting, audio and post-production.

Advanced AI editing skills: AI tools must be a core part of your creative workflow, not just something you've experimented with. A genuine interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, trading and Web3. You understand the language, culture and audience. Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable and potentially viral. Experience creating content for YouTube and social media platforms, across both long-form and short-form formats.

Ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver under tight deadlines. Willingness to work full-time, five days a week, from our Cape Town office.
