Vision: To be the most trusted financial partner on every main street in America.

Mission: To simplify financial security and remove uncertainty for America’s middle class.

Role Overview

The Senior Advisor is CSI Group’s cross-sell specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is converting our tax members into wealth management, estate planning, and life insurance members by running CSI360™ meetings, identifying which members have a genuine opportunity, and moving qualified members forward to the right professional.

The Senior Advisor serves as the qualification gate for the pod. By qualifying every opportunity first, the Senior Advisor protects the pod’s most valuable calendars and ensures that only real opportunities reach a Financial Advisor or an Attorney. This is a client-facing, opportunity-focused individual contributor role: a player, not a coach.

This position suits a disciplined, judgment-driven professional who is energized by member conversations, comfortable making a clear and final qualification call, and committed to pipeline accuracy as the foundation of reliable revenue.

Key Responsibilities

CSI360™ Meetings

  • Run the CSI360™ for members in the pod as the primary activity of the role.
  • Use CoAdvisor in every CSI360™ meeting, without exception, to guide the conversation and inform qualification.
  • Coordinate attendance of the Lead Advisor who owns the member relationship whenever available.
  • Screen and explore each member’s needs across CSI Group’s three cross-sell service lines:
  • Wealth management and retirement planning: assess the member’s financial picture and identify whether there is a real planning or asset management opportunity.
  • Estate planning: assess the member’s situation and identify whether their circumstances warrant estate planning.
  • Life insurance and asset protection: assess whether the member has a protection need as part of their broader financial picture.

Qualification

  • Determine whether each member is qualified for a follow-up meeting with a Financial Advisor, an Attorney, or both.
  • Own the qualification decision. CoAdvisor informs the judgment, the Senior Advisor makes the call, and that call is final.
  • Treat “not qualified” as a legitimate and expected outcome. Members who do not qualify remain with their Lead Advisor and may be revisited as their circumstances change.
  • Apply consistent, disciplined standards, recognizing that qualifying every member defeats the purpose of the role.
  • CRM and Outcome Recording
  • Record the outcome of every CSI360™ meeting in the CRM.
  • For members who do not qualify, mark the opportunity closed lost and enter a clear reason.
  • For qualified members, create the stage 4 deal and schedule the follow-up meeting with the Financial Advisor or Attorney.
  • Book follow-up meetings in the room whenever possible, and hand any that cannot be booked on the spot to the Executive Assistant to schedule and confirm.
  • Understand that closed lost reasons are essential business intelligence, not administrative housekeeping. They define what a qualified member looks like and allow CSI Group to measure its conversion assumptions.

Pipeline Oversight

  • Follow all opportunities in the pod across wealth management, estate planning, and life insurance.
  • Own the accuracy of the pod’s pipeline so that reporting reflects reality.
  • Follow the Financial Advisor pipeline and ensure it is accurate, with the extent of direct ownership to be defined in partnership with the Chief Revenue Officer.
  • Building the CSI360™ Calendar
  • Partner with the Lead Advisors in the pod on meeting their CSI360™ scheduling commitments.
  • Partner with the Growth and Development Advisor to identify and prioritize members worth meeting.
  • Take an active role in building a full CSI360™ calendar rather than waiting for one to arrive.

Tax Preparation (Transition Year)

  • Remain responsible for a portion of tax preparation during the current transition year, with volume and specific members at the Senior Advisor’s discretion.
  • Support the planned transition of tax preparation to the Lead Advisors over time, so the Senior Advisor’s calendar is fully available for CSI360™ meetings.
  • Scope of the Role
  • To keep accountability clear across the pod, the Senior Advisor does not:
  • Manage or supervise Lead Advisors or Growth and Development Advisors.
  • Manage Financial Advisors, Attorneys, Member Services, or Financial Operations.
  • Deliver wealth management services. Financial Advisors own and deliver that work, including the recommendation, sale, and implementation of life insurance within their licensing.
  • Draft, prepare, or execute legal documents, or provide legal opinions. These remain the responsibility of the Estate Planning Attorney.
  • Own opportunities past stage 4. Once the follow-up meeting takes place, the Financial Advisor owns progression.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 5 or more years of experience in financial services, tax, wealth management, or a member-facing advisory role, with a demonstrated record of identifying and converting cross-sell opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of tax preparation, retirement and wealth planning concepts, estate planning fundamentals, and life insurance and asset protection needs.
  • Sound, independent judgment and the confidence to make and stand behind a clear qualification decision.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and discovery skills, with the ability to build trust quickly and explore sensitive financial topics with clarity and care.
  • Strong discipline in CRM usage, pipeline hygiene, and accurate record keeping.
  • Comfortable working with AI-enabled tools, including CoAdvisor, as well as CRM systems, tax preparation platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented, with the ability to manage a high-volume meeting calendar.
