SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars. SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X.
We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next. ABOUT THE ROLE Growth's job is to get more people to discover SpaceXSI’s best in class agentic tools, understand what they can do, and make them part of how they work every day. Video carries a lot of that: performance ads, product demos, customer stories, launch films and the social clips our experiments run on.
We're looking for a Senior Video Editor to own post-production for Growth. You'll take raw footage, screen recordings and half-formed ideas and turn them into finished work that is fast, clear and polished, from the first cut through color, sound and final delivery. This isn't a cut-what-you're-handed role. You'll shape the story with the team, shoot when the job calls for it, direct agency and freelance partners, and build the post systems that let a small team ship a high volume of creative without losing craft.
Responsibilities - Creative production strategy: Partner with growth, product marketing and brand to decide what we make for each performance/growth campaign and experiment, and turn complex product capabilities into clear, human stories relevant to KPI targets for each funnel stage. - Performance creative: Edit paid ads for LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, X, and more at volume, building cutdowns, aspect ratios and variants so Growth always has fresh creative to test. - Product and launch video: Turn screen recordings and demos into clear, fast product performance videos derived from launch films and announcement pieces - Customer stories: Shape long-form, multi-camera interviews into tight customer stories and testimonials, then cut them down for every channel. - Finishing: Own color grading, motion graphics and audio, including cleanup, mixing and music editing, so every piece leaves the team polished. - Story development: Join early on scripts, shot plans and briefs so what gets shot is what post needs. - Hands-on production: Shoot net-new content when it is the fastest path, handling camera, lighting and audio. - Partners: Brief agencies, freelance editors, animators and voice talent, and package assets so outside work stays on brand.
This includes localized versions. - Post systems: Build and run the media management, versioning, review and asset library workflows the team depends on, using Cursor, agents and automation to make each delivery faster than the last. Basic Qualifications - 6+ years in video post-production, including time leading post for a team or studio and editing in-house for a tech company. Preferred Skills and Experience - A portfolio of performance ads, product videos and customer stories, with experience delivering high volumes across concurrent campaigns. - Mastery of Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve, and strong skills in color grading, motion graphics and audio editing and mixing. - Comfort with fast turnarounds: you can deliver a polished announcement in days without dropping the craft. - Experience directing and reviewing work from outside editors, animators, agencies and voice talent, including localized versions. - A habit of building systems: media management, version control, review workflows and asset libraries that make the whole team faster. - Hands-on production skills, including camera, lighting and audio, and the judgment to know when shooting it yourself is the fastest path. - Strong collaboration with growth, product marketing, brand and sales, and the ability to turn shifting feedback into on-target work. - Curiosity about AI tools and agents, and a willingness to put them to work in post. - Nice to have: feature film, VFX or VR/360 experience; music production; experience supporting a studio build-out.
Additional Requirements - This role requires being in-office in San Francisco.
