Do you combine strategic product marketing with entrepreneurial thinking and clear leadership? Would you like to shape the positioning of a growing legal tech portfolio in national and international markets and further develop product marketing as an effective interface between Product, Marketing, and Sales? As Director of Product Marketing, you’ll be responsible for the strategic direction and further development of our product marketing for SaaS and on-premises solutions.
You’ll refine our positioning and messaging, develop scalable go-to-market strategies, and—together with Product Management, Sales, and Executive Management—ensure that market, customer, and competitive insights are consistently incorporated into our product and marketing strategy. Does this sound like your next challenge? Then we look forward to getting to know you! Strategic Leadership: You are responsible for the product marketing strategy and use it to define clear priorities, goals, and key performance indicators for our national and international markets.
Leadership & Development: You lead the Product Marketing team, foster the professional and personal growth of employees, and establish effective structures, standards, and processes. Messaging & Positioning: You will develop a distinctive positioning and consistent messaging for our legal tech portfolio and ensure its implementation is tailored to the target audience across all relevant channels. Go-to-Market: You will manage product-related go-to-market strategies for new products, releases, and features and coordinate their implementation in collaboration with Product Management, Marketing, and Sales.
Portfolio & Product Strategy: You will contribute market, customer, and competitive insights to the long-term product and portfolio strategy and act as a strategic sparring partner for Product Leadership and Management. Market & Customer Intelligence: You will establish a structured approach to customer, persona, market, and competitive analyses and derive concrete recommendations for action from them. Sales Enablement : You ensure that our sales channels have the relevant sales pitches, content, training, and sales tools they need to successfully position our solutions in the market.
Content & Demand: You set the strategic direction for product-related content, campaigns, and lead nurturing initiatives and ensure close alignment with operational marketing. Analyst Relations & Thought Leadership: You’ll enhance our visibility among relevant analysts and in the market, and—together with internal experts—position our company as a thought leader in the legal tech sector. Performance Management: You’ll define appropriate KPIs, measure the impact of our product marketing activities, and derive data-driven optimization strategies.
Experience: You have several years of relevant professional experience in product marketing or a comparable strategic marketing role in an international environment, ideally in the B2B software or SaaS industry; experience in the legal tech or legal services market is a definite plus. Leadership: You bring leadership experience and a willingness to take on responsibility, provide direction, and effectively develop a team.
Track Record: You have a proven track record of success in developing product, positioning, and go-to-market strategies, as well as in implementing B2B marketing initiatives. Education: You have successfully completed a degree, e.g., in marketing, business, or communications, or a comparable qualification with a focus on marketing. Business Mindset: You think and act entrepreneurially, make well-informed decisions, and combine strategic foresight with pragmatic execution.
Customer Focus: You actively seek dialogue with customers, are highly customer- and service-oriented, and know how to translate market needs into clear strategic priorities. Work Style: You work proactively, in a structured and assertive manner, while remaining cooperative; you set priorities independently even in the face of resistance, are persuasive, and maintain a clear overview even when juggling multiple tasks simultaneously—with strong conceptual skills and organizational talent Communication: You communicate clearly and in a manner tailored to your audience; you can rally diverse stakeholders—including executive management—behind a common goal; and you bring creativity, a team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to the table.
AI Expertise: You confidently use AI tools for analysis, conceptualization, and content creation, and drive their effective use within the team; you confidently utilize AI solutions such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar tools to efficiently support analysis, conceptualization, content creation, and visualization, among other tasks. Languages: You have business-level proficiency in German and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Mobility: You are willing to travel occasionally to our locations, to clients, and within the group. You will take on the central leadership role in Product Marketing and work closely with our Product Management, Marketing, and Sales teams, as well as other international stakeholders. Together, you will establish a clear link between market requirements, product strategy, and successful marketing. In doing so, you will shape not only content but also structures, collaboration, and the long-term development of the department.
