At Plantura, we reconnect people with nature and strive to make the world a bit greener every day. You are dreaming of a job where sustainability and entrepreneurship meet state-of-the-art technical solutions? You are an experienced Senior Product Manager and want to shape our digital shopping experience? You will own the Plantura Shopping Experience as a product: its customer experience, its features, and how it all contributes to the success of the Plantura business.
One of our principles is Build for Delight , and in this role, you own it for our Shop, from the first visit through checkout and beyond. Our customers arrive with very different intents. Some search for a specific product, some look for inspiration for their balcony, others browse a category or return to re-order, and many arrive with a problem: a struggling plant, a patchy lawn, pests on their tomatoes. Your job is to make each of these journeys feel guided, intuitive and delightful.
The Shop also has more than one entry point. Customers reach it on the web and inside our App, and AI assistants and shopping agents are starting to search, compare and hand customers to checkout on their behalf. You will shape how the Shop works across these entry points as they evolve, measuring success on repeat purchase behavior, conversion, and average order value, with contribution margin and site performance as guardrails.
This is your role: Set the strategy, outcome measures, and priorities for the Shop across entry points, turning customer and business insights into high-impact product bets. Own the shopping journey for every mode of in-shop discovery (search, browse, inspiration, problem-solving) through to checkout and re-order, improving navigation, recommendations, and trust signals where evidence shows the greatest opportunity. Build capabilities that allow Category Management and Marketing teams to merchandise and promote effectively (collections, bundles, cross-sell, promotional offers, clear price and savings displays).
Leverage AI to improve in-shop discovery, search, recommendations, and advice that help customers choose with confidence. Shape how the Shop operates across web, in-app (partnering with the App Product Manager), and AI shopping agents, ensuring strong product data and technical foundations. Combine customer research, behavioural data and commercial context to frame problems, test hypotheses, and decide what to scale, adapt or stop.
Lead initiatives end-to-end from requirements and prioritization through releases to post-launch measurement, collaborating daily in a cross-functional team (Engineers, Designers, QA). You own the Shop experience and its foundations; Marketing leads acquisition and SEO strategy, and Category Management leads assortment and availability. Relevant Experience: Proven track record of independently owning a digital D2C shopping experience across multiple quarters, turning ambiguous goals into clear priorities, and improving commercial and experience metrics.
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of Shopify (or a comparable e-commerce platform) and its ecosystem, with sound judgment regarding build-vs-buy decisions. E-Commerce Mechanics: Solid mastery of core shopping mechanics, including search and browse, merchandising, promotions, product information, checkout, and payments. AI & Agentic Commerce: Experience shipping AI features that enhance customer experience and how product teams work, combined with a clear understanding of what search engines and AI shopping agents need from a store.
Data & Customer Focus: Ability to combine customer research, behavioral data, and commercial judgment to test hypotheses, run disciplined experiments, and make data-informed decisions. Build for Delight: You care about how shopping feels, not only how it converts, and you notice the details that make it easy and fun. Language Skills: Fluent communication skills in English alongside professional working German proficiency at C1 level or above for customer research and local partner collaboration.
Ownership: We offer you a highly ambitious work environment with quick communication and decision-making paths as well as the opportunity to shape a sustainable market leader. Team spirit: We are an ambitious team with an appreciative working atmosphere. Through our OKR process, we actively promote participation and transparency of strategic focus topics throughout the organization. Meaningful benefits: We believe that everyone needs support to develop personally and professionally.
Yoga or gym, coding class or employee leadership coaching - we address your needs. Further, you can work remotely within the EU for up to 6 weeks per year. Sustainability: We don't do greenwashing blah blah, but take an honest and professional look at how we can make Plantura a little more sustainable every day. We all like to meet in our beautiful office near Königsplatz in Munich and your dog is also welcome here. Other than that, you have the option of working from home up to three days a week.
Plantura is committed to equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion. We appreciate applications that contribute to Plantura's diversity. Are you interested in this position and want to know more? Feel free to send an email to Hannah: [email protected].
