Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal Social Media Coordinator to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for engaging with the local community and facilitating marketing campaigns on a variety of platforms.

Unit Description

UBS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Elmont, New York, next to the Belmont Park race track. The home to the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL) hosts around 150 major events annually.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute marketing content strategies using a range of social media channels
• Work with marketing leaders and Digital Marketing to establish and report on social media metrics regularly to the leadership team
• Report social media engagement results regularly to the leadership team
• Adhere to company social media compliance standards and policies
• Establish key local community marketing relationships such as destination marketing organizations
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent work experience required
• Excellent working knowledge of social media platforms
• Strong photography and videography skills
• Experience using a social media content management system preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
