About the role
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference through employment and discrimination law while building your career in some of NSW's most vibrant regional communities.
As part of Legal Aid NSW's Workplace Rights Service, you will provide high-quality legal advice, minor assistance and casework to people experiencing workplace issues and disadvantage. You will manage a varied and rewarding practice, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges and achieve fair outcomes, while maintaining the high professional standards expected at Legal Aid NSW.
Working in a regional office offers more than a change of location. It provides the opportunity to build strong community connections, work closely with local services and stakeholders, and see firsthand the impact of your advocacy. You will enjoy the diversity, autonomy and breadth of practice that regional work can offer, while being supported by an experienced statewide network of workplace rights practitioners.
This vacancy is available in the beautiful regional location of Wagga Wagga, offering an exceptional lifestyle, strong sense of community and the chance to make a tangible difference where legal assistance is often needed most.
About you
You are an experienced solicitor with expertise in employment and discrimination law and a genuine commitment to social justice. You are motivated by the opportunity to help disadvantaged people understand and enforce their workplace rights and to achieve positive outcomes for those who may otherwise struggle to access legal support.
You enjoy building relationships and working collaboratively with clients, colleagues and community stakeholders. Whether you have previous regional experience or are looking for a rewarding tree change, you are excited by the opportunity to immerse yourself in local communities and contribute to improving access to justice across regional NSW.
Your strong legal skills, sound judgement and client-focused approach will enable you to deliver high-quality services and make a lasting impact on the lives of the people and communities we serve.

Here, every role has purpose.
Whether you’re delivering frontline legal services or strengthening our organisation from behind the scenes, you’ll help create fairer outcomes for the people across NSW.
We’re building a workplace where every culture, identity, ability and voice are included and valued. We welcome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with visible and invisible disability, culturally diverse communities, and LGBTQI+ communities so you can connect and flourish at every stage of career.
You will be part of a diverse and inclusive organisation, working alongside like-minded and values driven people dedicated to justice, community impact, and delivering exceptional support and service through cross collaboration.
