DBIS (the business) which this development team is supporting specializes in securities and tax processing services in national and international markets. This includes the order management for funds, the settlement of securities as well as other event and income services like general meetings, safe keeping and custodial services. These services are provided to the business units of Deutsche Bank. For this purpose, business operates one of the highest-volume technical processing platforms in Germany and processes more than 20 million transactions per year. In addition, business operates further systems which reduce the required manual work by automatizing standard workloads.

To extend and maintain these systems, an experienced RPA Engineer is required. This role includes the design, implementation and administration of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and its integration with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies to support business, functional and technical requirements. Furthermore, it includes the analysis of new requirements and supporting business analysts in specifying them in a way that drives reusability and assures that the overall designs are consistent with industry best practices (including scalability, availability, maintainability and flexibility). In case of issues,

the RPA specialist should work on analyzing those issues and to neutralize their impacts.

Key responsibilities of this role include active participation in the design of their solution components, investigating re-use, ensuring that solutions are fit for purpose and maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust and well tested deployments

Your key responsibilities

• Development, configuration and quality assurance of solutions to automate existing business processes and associated web forms within the Blue Prism RPA Framework
• Implementation of proof of concepts for the involved operational departments
• Maintenance of existing automation solutions
• Implementation in an agile environment
• Analysis, design and development of system components along with functional and development team
• Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability, and other non-functional requirements)

Your skills and experience

• B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer-Science
• A hands-on technologist with 10+ years of experience in in the development, deployment in production and maintenance of RPA processes with Blue Prism
• Confident handling of MS Office technology and web technologies
• Foundational knowledge of traditional and generative AI technologies, as well as their practical application and integration.
• Initial knowledge in the field of business process management, in particular process documentation, analysis and optimization
• Well-founded and verifiable programming knowledge in at least one object-oriented programming language, ideally from the Microsoft environment, would also be advantageous
• Strong analytical and design skills
• Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)
• Desired skills

Experience in Investment Banking/Financial domain

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
