Context/Scope
Packaging is a primary brand touchpoint in the Indian spirits market running a high risk of counterfeting & illicit trading. Alcobev industry is also a media dark industry with high cost of direct 1-1 consumer communication/connect if done through available modes of marketing communications.
Despite lack of viable consumer communication channels, Packaging is still a under-leveraged real estate. Beyond QR codes, Digital & Physical technology interventions are very limited in this category of products. This is where we see an opportunity of creation of a hierarchy of brand specific “horses for courses” solutions that are fit for the category of brands, presents a clear business case and have feasibility of implementation given the complex & distributed nature of our Supply chain.
