Domaine is looking for a senior Mirakl specialist to lead dropship configuration and vendor migration for an enterprise client, working as a contractor inside our delivery team.
The client, a global hospitality brand, is moving its commerce platform to Shopify and using Mirakl as its dropship layer. All existing vendors (around 30, possibly 50 or more) must move from Logic Broker to Mirakl before cutover, alongside a new group of vendors joining the program. Domaine owns this work stream end to end. You will be the person who knows Mirakl best on the team.
You will report into Domaine's program manager and work day to day with our back-end director, architect and technical lead. Domaine handles the Shopify build and program management. Pipe17 manages middleware and loyalty integrations. The client owns vendor relationships and communications. Your job is to make sure Mirakl is configured correctly and that vendors land on it cleanly.
This engagement is expected to last approximately 6–9 months, including hypercare, with the timeline to be confirmed following discovery. Discovery is scheduled to begin in December 2026, followed by the build phase in January 2027.
Flexible allocation based on project needs, averaging approximately 10+ hours per week, with workload increasing to near full-time during vendor migration.
What you'll do
- The work runs in four phases, from discovery in December through hypercare after launch.
- Discovery and design (December)
- Review the client's Mirakl setup and the RACI from Mirakl, and identify gaps in ownership.
- Design the dropship configuration: catalog and attribute model, category mapping, offer and inventory rules, order, shipping, cancellation and returns flows.
- Define how orders and status updates flow between Mirakl and Shopify, working with Domaine's architect and Pipe17.
- Build the vendor migration plan. Group vendors by integration type (Shopify connector, EDI, SPS Commerce, API, file-based) so they can be onboarded in cohorts rather than one by one.
- Configuration and build (January onward)
- Configure Mirakl in line with Mirakl best practice and document every decision.
- Set up catalog templates, validation rules and the vendor onboarding workflow.
- Work with Domaine engineers on the Shopify side of the integration, and flag anything that would push custom work into Mirakl.
- Vendor onboarding and migration
- Run a pilot with the new vendors first to prove the onboarding method.
- Support a parallel run with Logic Broker, then move the remaining vendors in cohorts to a clean cutover.
- Prepare onboarding guides and run group sessions. The client handles vendor communications; you handle the technical side.
- Track each vendor's status and raise blockers early.
- Testing, launch and hypercare
- Write the Mirakl test scenarios for Domaine's system integration test plan and help run them.
- Support go-live and the cutover window.
- Stay on through hypercare and hand over runbooks to the client's operations team.
- Across all phases, you will advise Domaine's team so we build our own Mirakl knowledge, and you will keep the program manager informed of risks to the timeline.
What you bring
- At least three years of hands-on Mirakl work on the operator side, either at Mirakl (implementation, professional services or customer success) or at a Mirakl partner.
- Two or more Mirakl Dropship launches you led or were a core member of, from configuration through vendor go-live.
- Detailed knowledge of the Mirakl back office: catalog and attribute configuration, offer and inventory rules, order workflows, and vendor onboarding.
- Experience onboarding vendors at scale across EDI, SPS Commerce, API and connector-based integrations.
- Experience migrating vendors from another dropship platform (Logic Broker, Rithum/CommerceHub or similar) without disrupting live orders.
- Enough technical depth to work with Mirakl's APIs and explain integration requirements to engineers.
- Experience working inside an agency or systems integrator team, under someone else's program management.
- Clear written communication. You will write configuration decisions, vendor guides and status updates that clients read.
- Nice to have
- Experience with the Mirakl Platform Connector for Shopify, or other Mirakl-to-Shopify integrations.
- Experience with Pipe17 or similar order-management middleware.
- Background in hospitality, travel retail or loyalty-linked commerce.
- Mirakl certifications.
