Manage the Canvas release lifecycle, including release note review, sandbox and beta testing, change management, and deployment coordination.
Perform testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of Canvas and its integrations.
Monitor platform health, integration jobs, and sign-in and access activity. Identify and resolve incidents and act as tier 3 escalation for complex issues, in line with ITSM/ITIL-aligned practices and SLAs.
Support security and compliance requirements, including audit evidence, vulnerability remediation, and data privacy requirements.
Produce and maintain technical reporting and data extracts, such as Canvas Data, analytics, and operational reports, to support system monitoring and stakeholder needs.
Document system configurations, integration points, runbooks, and processes so the platform is clear and maintainable.
Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to IT and support teams on platform functionality and best practices.
Collaborate with other platform administrators, such as Banner and Salesforce, to align standards and cross-system dependencies.
Stay current with Canvas and Instructure roadmap changes, emerging technologies, and industry best practices in platform administration and automation.
