Principal - CI & Digital Team - Controllership

What you’ll do

"As a member of the Global Controllership Continuous Improvement (CI) & Digital team, this role is responsible for advancing the Controllership Digital Transformation strategy and executing the CI & Digital roadmap across the global organization. The position provides leadership and guidance in the design, architecture, and delivery of AI, Automation, and Digital initiatives that drive operational efficiency, standardization, and business value.

Serving as a key connector between Controllership, Operational Excellence, and IT teams, this role fosters alignment across functions to accelerate enterprise-wide transformation efforts. The individual will influence strategic decision-making, establish governance and delivery frameworks, define enterprise standards, and lead the implementation of innovative solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, operational excellence, and sustainable competitive advantage"

"Key Responsibilities

• Define, architect, and lead enterprise-wide AI, Automation, and Digital Transformation initiatives across multiple business units and global regions.
• Provide strategic leadership and regular updates to senior executives and key stakeholders on project progress, business outcomes, risks, and operational performance.
• Lead the recruitment, development, coaching, and retention of high-performing talent, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive resolution of complex business and technical challenges, removing execution barriers and optimizing team capacity and effectiveness.
• Develop and execute strategies that enhance the impact, scalability, and value of the Controllership Continuous Improvement (CI), Digital, and Automation function.
• Establish and maintain quality management standards across presentations, reporting, digital product development lifecycles, governance processes, and performance metrics.
• Build and sustain a high-performance organization by attracting top talent, mentoring team members, and supporting career growth and succession planning.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement internal and external best practices to advance digital, automation, and continuous improvement capabilities.
• Partner with global business, finance, and technology stakeholders to standardize processes, leverage leading practices, and implement robust governance frameworks.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, knowledge management, and records retention practices are maintained to support operational excellence and business continuity.
• Collaborate closely with IT and business leaders to align priorities, accelerate delivery, and ensure successful execution of strategic transformation initiatives."

Qualifications

• •Master’s degree in Finance
• "•10+ years of progressive experience in driving transformation initiatives, delivering technology solutions including AI based solutions specifically in a Finance & Accounting domain
• +5 years of team management experience especially managing techno-functional resources "

Skills

• "•Experience with Power Platform, RPA, AI including working knowledge of Azure platform
• •Knowledge of design and deployment of technology architecture
• •Knowledge of IoT technologies, including cloud processing, like Azure IoT Hub.
• •Good functional/domain knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes

• Experience and understanding of a wide variety of analytical processes (governance, measurement, etc.).
• Experience with business driven / self-service CI

•Ability to work in a highly matrix organization
