Latam Quality Manager

Eaton’s EPG LAC PD Power Distribution division is currently seeking a Latam Quality Manager.

What you’ll do

Job Summary

This position exists to lead the regional Operational Excellence and Quality organization, driving a continuous improvement culture, quality management, cost-out and data/ERP governance across LATAM. The role standardizes Lean/Six Sigma deployment, unified dashboards, operational assessments (OpA) and Industry 4.0 (I4.0) initiatives, and owns Business Intelligence / data management and analytics for the operations organization across all sites (Mexico, CAC, Andean and Brazil).

Job Responsibilities

• A. Lead regional Quality and Operational Excellence strategy and deploy the Eaton Business System (EBS).
• B. Direct regional Quality teams (Mexico, CAC, Andean, Brazil) and drive quality performance and compliance.
• C. Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) teams across the region and embed a CI culture.
• D. Deploy Lean / Six Sigma programs and operational assessments (OpA).
• E. Drive cost-out initiatives across the region.
• F. Own unified dashboards and operations Business Intelligence / data management and analytics (BI Data Management Analyst & Engineer).
• G. Lead Data and ERP governance for the operations organization.
• H. Drive Industry 4.0 (I4.0) initiatives.
• I. Support demand analysis / BI for the operations organization.
• J. Standardize quality and CI processes and metrics across plants.
• K. Build organizational capability, developing and coaching OpEx/Quality talent across the region.

Qualifications

Education level required / Nivel educativo requerido

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and/or MBA preferred.
• Years and area of experience / Años y área de experiencia requerida:
• Working knowledge of quality management systems, Operational Excellence, Lean/Six Sigma and data analytics.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in quality / OpEx / CI.
• + 5 years in managerial experience leading multi-country teams.

Technical knowledge / Conocimientos técnicos

• A thorough understanding of quality management systems (ISO), Lean/Six Sigma and CI methodologies is required.
• Data / BI, unified dashboards, analytics and ERP data governance.
• Industry 4.0 / digital manufacturing.
• Cost-out and operational assessment (OpA) methodologies.
• English and Spanish language capability required.
