- Supporting the development and refresh of the risk based Internal Audit Plan.
- Working closely with co sourced audit providers and other assurance functions.
- Providing oversight, coaching and development support to Senior Internal Auditors.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, processes and quality standards.
- Supporting governance forums and presenting audit findings and recommendations where required.

- Previous line management or team leadership experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
- Excellent written communication skills and experience producing high quality audit reports.
- Experience operating within large, complex or regulated organisations, or from a Big 4 professional services background.
- A strong understanding of governance, risk and internal control frameworks.
- Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent.
Beneficial, but not essential
- Energy, utilities, nuclear or major infrastructure projects.
