Head of Strategy

Our long-term mission is to build a more efficient, transparent, and fair financial system. Our flagship product, Phoenix Perpetuals, brings professional-grade perpetual futures to Solana. Phoenix has processed over $4 billion in trading volume and is growing 20% month over month, adding to the more than $300 billion our products have facilitated to date.

Behind Phoenix is a lean, high-caliber team with experience at top trading firms, blockchain companies, and tech companies. Ellipsis Labs is seeking a Head of Strategy to join our team. Working directly with our co-founders and alongside our existing growth team, you'll shape and execute our go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will: - Own growth strategy and execution for Phoenix across target user types (traders, market makers, integrators) and channels - Deploy capital into scalable, sustainable, and measurable growth strategies, including marketing and incentives - Raise the bar for operational rigor throughout the GTM organization QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED - Demonstrated rigor in written and verbal communication - Ability and desire to pick up context in a deeply technical domain where details matter - Strong work ethic and high agency - Bias toward reasoning from first principles - Hands-on experience in a go-to-market function PREFERRED - Experience in systematic trading, exchanges, and crypto - Experience managing and measuring user acquisition and marketing budgets - Familiarity with perpetual futures, derivatives, and on-chain trading
