Nationwide Building Society Finance/FinTech

Marketing and Corporate Affairs Consultant

Swindon, United Kingdom Hybrid Full-time

We're looking for a Marketing & Corporate Affairs Consultant to join our Marketing & Corporate Affairs community. In this role, you'll support the planning, development and delivery of a wide range of marketing, communications and engagement activities that help connect Nationwide with key audiences, including members, employees, journalists, politicians, charities and wider consumer groups. You'll create engaging content, communications and campaigns that strengthen our brand, enhance our reputation, support business objectives and deliver positive outcomes for our audiences.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop and deliver a variety of communications and marketing materials, including digital and printed content, campaigns, events, media materials and audience engagement activities. Using insight, data and audience understanding, you'll help shape communications approaches, support decision-making and ensure that activity is delivered through the most effective channels and messages.

You'll also support the management and delivery of projects, helping coordinate resources, budgets and timelines while ensuring all activity aligns with brand guidelines, governance requirements, regulatory standards and accessibility principles. Through measuring and evaluating performance, you'll help identify opportunities to improve future campaigns and engagement activity, contributing to continuous improvement across the team.

This role would suit someone with a passion for marketing, communications or stakeholder engagement who enjoys combining creativity with insight-driven decision making. You'll bring strong communication and organisational skills, experience managing multiple priorities and an interest in developing effective marketing and engagement solutions that make a meaningful impact.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 28 and 35 hours.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

Whilst these locations are where we are primarily looking to fill the role, if you’re an internal applicant based in a different location we would welcome your application and if successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this could work for this specific role. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.
