Team Managers – Communications and Marketing

Here at Walsall Council, we are doing things differently and have an ambition to transform our approach to communications and marketing. Over the coming months, we’ll be launching a new communications and marketing strategy and we’re looking to recruit two Team Managers in our team to be part of this new journey.

Team Manager – Campaigns & Marketing - Ref: RT01826

G11: £53,051 - £56,293 per annum.

We are also advertising a Team Manager - Staff Engagement & Marketing Operations - please note there is a separate advertisement and application process for this.

We’re looking for an experienced and creative team manager with a strong track record of managing people and delivering compelling, insight-led marketing and communications campaigns across a broad range of channels. You’ll use audience research, segmentation and data to influence behaviour and achieve measurable outcomes for residents and the borough. You will also help shape the Council’s brand, creative and place marketing approach, building pride and confidence in Walsall for the future.

Both managers will become an important part of our talented Communications and Marketing team, leading and developing colleagues while building strong relationships both internally and externally.

Our values are at the heart of everything we do at Walsall Council. We are therefore looking for collaborative and solution-focused managers who can demonstrate a passionate commitment to living the values through their previous work. You will inspire creativity, develop others and deliver excellent work in a busy communications environment. If you are ready to make a real difference, we would like to hear from you.
