Why Join Us
At Argos, data is one of the most important parts of how we operate, innovate and serve our customers; our Data & Analytics Team ambition is to build the most technically advanced, commercial and impactful capability in the industry, powering our Next Level Strategy and helping to create an AI powered Argos, enabling More Argos, More Often through Inspiring Choice, Always Great Value and Supercharging our Digital Capabilities.
As a Marketplace Product Analyst, you will use data to help our digital products better serve customers and create value. Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional product teams, you will identify opportunities, shape product decisions, define success measures and evaluate the impact of Marketplace features across the end-to-end customer journey. Your analysis will cover Marketplace KPIs, customer behaviour, the interaction between Marketplace and Argos owned products, and areas of friction or opportunity within our digital experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional product teams to discover and size opportunities that improve customer satisfaction, product performance and Marketplace value.
- Translate customer, behavioural and commercial data into clear insights and recommendations that inform product strategy, prioritisation and roadmap decisions.
- Define product KPIs, measurement frameworks and success criteria for Marketplace journeys, features and initiatives.
- Measure the impact of product launches and changes, clearly explaining successes, failures, trade-offs and opportunities for iteration.
- Design and analyse experiments, including A/B tests, ensuring hypotheses, metrics and methods are robust and results lead to actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Digital Analytics Implementation and Data teams to define tracking and data requirements across the product development lifecycle, helping ensure product teams have reliable data for decision-making.
- Analyse the end-to-end Marketplace customer journey to identify friction, behavioural drivers and opportunities to optimise discovery, consideration, purchase and post-purchase experiences.
- Act as a Digital Product Analytics subject matter expert, using data-led storytelling to influence stakeholders and embed customer-centric, evidence-based decision-making.
- Triage and prioritise analytics use cases with the Marketplace Analytics Manager, balancing strategic product questions, delivery needs and potential customer or business value.
- Work as part of the wider Digital & Customer Analytics team, sharing methods, insight and best practice across eCommerce, Digital Product Analytics and Marketplace Analytics.
