The Ford Credit Technology & Software organization creates digital software products for dealers and customers to support Ford Credit's strategic goal to be the reason customers choose and stay with Ford.
Front End (UI/UX) Engineer for Ford Bill will contribute to the development of new digital products for Ford Credit Commercial customers. Ford Bill will be the one-stop shop for paying the bills from Ford Credit and Ford Pro for the financing and subscriptions respectively.
Develop software and services in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including applications, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.
Should have experience building AI agents to build the code and to use it across SDLC
Proficiency using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate development, debugging, and code review
Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI generated code to ensure quality, security, and adherence to best practices
Build reusable code and libraries.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability,
Supports responsive web and mobile applications that work across different screen sizes.
Tests software development methodology in an agile environment.
Provides feedback on existing products and contributes to the design of new product features.
Provides ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Collaborates cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Knowledge in front end software technologies
Experience working on cloud and digital platforms
Experience with Lean and Agile methodologies
- Experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and Quality Assurance teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt your communication style to the audience
- Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex decision making in a rapidly changing environment
