Senior Specialist, UX Designer

The Role

Our site inPune, Indiais seeking aMid-LevelUX Designerto join our team.

This person will work on a newly formed team thatishelpingshape the future of digital tools and platforms at Entegris.

You’ll work directly with highly technicaland operationally savvypartners — engineers, scientists,operations leader,business leaders — to design intuitive, effective experiences that improve complex operational workflows, support R&Dinnovation efforts,empoweringusers throughout the ecosystem, from the shop floor to executives, to do their best work.

This is a hands-on, highly autonomous role for someone who brings strong product thinking, thrives in complexity, and is excited to help builda new designpractice from the ground up.

As part of a newlyformingHuman-Centered Designteam, this role offers the unique opportunity to help shape how design and research integrate into our organization.You’llplay an active part inestablishingways of working, lightweight processes, and best practices that enable high-impact outcomes within a lean, fast-moving environment. This is an ideal role for someone excited to help build notjust greatsolutions—buta great designand research culture from the ground up.

WhatYou’llDo

• Own delivery for UX design for one or more product teams
• Develop user-centered solutions for AI-enabled tools,determininghow emerging AI patterns support operational workflows.
• Collaborate with Human-Centered Design Leadership and cross-functional partners(engineers, scientists,operationsand business leaders)tounderstand business processes,identifyopportunities to improve workflows,anddesign effective digital tools.
• Conduct research and create end-to-end design artifacts, including journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and annotated specs.
• Frame and communicate design rationale to developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Work closely withproduct teamsto bring concepts to life and ensure usability and consistency.
• Participate in user validation, iteration, and team ceremonies throughout the product development cycle.
• Help shape our AI-forward design pipeline
• Help shape our Design Systembydesigning/establishingnewcomponents andpatterns to meet business needs, coordinating with our software engineering team in Pune, India

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave

3-5years of UX design experience, with a portfolioshowcasingcomplex workflows, systems thinking, and enterprise-grade solutions.

Specifics: Youdon’tneed to check every box, but you should bring strong experience in many of these areas and a willingness to grow into the rest.

Enterprise & Domain Expertise

• Experiencedesigning forenterprise tools and operational workflows.
• Familiarity with dashboard design and tools used in manufacturing or supply chain contexts.
• Industry experience in manufacturing and supply chain is a strong bonus; B2B life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology sectorsalsoconsidered.

AI & Emerging Technologies

Experiencedesigning forAI-driven platforms, including systems that incorporate automation, feedback loops, or agent-based UX.

Familiarity with platforms like Google Cloud’s AI suite or comparable technologies.

Design Craft & Tools

Highly proficient in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design system management.

Strongexpertisein journey mapping, service design, and simplifying complex or technical processes.

Collaboration & Communication

Comfortable working directly with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders throughout the design process.

Strong communicationand facilitation skills; able to clearly present design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
