Senior Business Analyst (Data & SQL)

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Data & SQL) . You will translate complex data models into clear requirements, mappings and target structures, partnering with cross-location teams in Agile delivery. If you enjoy deep SQL analysis, stakeholder problem-solving and improving how teams work, this role gives you the space to drive clarity and quality. Responsibilities Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria Analyze source-to-target data mappings and validate target structures against data models Write and run SQL queries to support analysis, reconciliation and issue triage Partner with engineers, analysts and testers across locations to deliver in Agile sprints Facilitate workshops, challenge assumptions and align conflicting stakeholder needs Create concise functional documentation, presentations and decision logs Support governance by promoting standards, reuse and long-term maintainability Use AI tools responsibly to speed up BA work while protecting confidentiality and quality Requirements Business analysis experience in enterprise application analysis and design Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and synthesis skills Agile delivery experience working with cross-location teams Data modeling literacy, including ability to interpret data models and structures SQL proficiency, including writing and executing queries for data analysis Stakeholder management skills, including ability to challenge constructively Clear communication across presentations and functional writing Responsible AI usage practices, maintaining human accountability, confidentiality and quality controls Singapore By choosing EPAM, you're getting a job at one of the most loved workplaces according to Newsweek 2021 & 2022&2023 .
