Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and data requirements Design, develop and implement data solutions using Databricks Engage with senior stakeholders on decision-making Translate complex business requirements into practical Data Driven/ML/AI solutions Rapid Prototyping to Production: Translate ambiguous business problems into functional technical solutions to de-risk high-stakes client initiatives Architect and deliver end-to-end data solutions Hands-on Co-Development: Embed directly with client/EPAM engineering teams to build data pipelines, Streaming/Batch Architectures and Medallion Designs, and production-grade AI/ML systems on Databricks Lead delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Drive revenue within the client/account portfolio by identifying opportunities and influence/sell-in EPAM services and participate in pre-sales Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field or relevant work experience Extensive experience in Data & AI, particularly in building enterprise data and ML/AI platforms Proven expertise with Databricks is a must, including hands-on implementation experience and certifications Strong background in solution architecture on major cloud providers (Azure, AWS) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements 10+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning or advanced data engineering roles Demonstrated experience in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders Ability to operate strategically while maintaining attention to detail Experience leading delivery teams and driving successful project outcomes Strong track record of developing and growing client relationships Nice to have Experience with Agentic Frameworks Experience with Semantic Layers Experience with Data Management and Governance Experience with Data Models Experience with CI/CD Experience with Mosaic AI Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) Previous experience in a forward-deployed, professional services or elite solutions engineering environment UK EPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Protection benefits including life assurance, income protection and critical illness cover Private medical insurance and dental care Employee Assistance Program Competitive group pension plan Cyclescheme, Techscheme and season ticket loans Various perks such as free Wednesday lunch in-office, on-site massages and regular social events Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, and courses If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program *All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
