We are seeking a high-caliber, commercially driven GCP Cloud Engagement Leader to spearhead enterprise cloud transformations for our premier Australian accounts. Operating at the critical intersection of Cloud Consulting, High-Stakes Delivery, and Account Growth , you will serve as the strategic bridge between Google Cloud's engineering power and our clients’ C-suite ambitions. This role carries explicit growth revenue targets, including professional services signings, annual contract value (ACV), and consumption revenue expansion .

You will orchestrate complex enterprise migrations, app modernization tracks, and data/AI transformations utilizing the Google Cloud ecosystem (including Vertex AI, BigQuery, and GKE Enterprise). You will be commercially accountable for account expansion, leveraging GCP co-investment frameworks to unlock business value while ensuring engineering squads deliver highly secure, resilient, and optimized architectures on Google Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities Commercial Growth & Revenue Generation: Own and exceed defined annual revenue expansion targets, including Net New Revenue (NNR), Professional Services bookings, and Incremental Cloud Consumption Value (ACV/TCV) across your assigned portfolio Google Ecosystem Alignment: Partner closely with Google Cloud account teams to co-sell, negotiate, and structure strategic enterprise agreements. Maximize GCP funding programs, cloud consumption credits, and proof-of-concept incentives to secure commercial expansions GCP Strategy & Architecture Consulting: Act as a trusted advisor to ASX 100 executive teams (CIOs, CTOs, CDOs), translating business goals into scalable Google Cloud roadmaps covering landing zones, multi-cloud topologies, and secure generative AI platforms High-Stakes Delivery Governance: Maintain ultimate delivery accountability for multi-million-dollar GCP programs.

Oversee cross-functional engineering squads across large-scale compute migrations (Compute Engine, GKE), data mesh deployments (BigQuery), and system modernizations to ensure referenceable delivery that unlocks subsequent revenue phases Sovereign Cloud & Risk Management: Navigate complex Australian regulatory environments (APRA CPS 234, IRAP frameworks, and Australian Privacy Principles) to architect secure, compliant, and data-sovereign solutions utilizing Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) and GKE Enterprise fleets Practice Leadership: Mentor and scale the local Sydney GCP consulting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, Google Cloud certification paths, and agile delivery excellence Requirements Commercial & Revenue Track Record: Proven experience hitting and exceeding sales, account expansion, or revenue utilization targets within a technology consulting or cloud services environment Experience & Market Presence: 8+ years of experience leading complex enterprise technology consulting, IT advisory, or cloud delivery programs within the Australian market GCP Commercial Expertise: Demonstrated experience working alongside Google Cloud (or similar hyperscalers) to pitch, close, and expand enterprise accounts Enterprise Architecture Familiarity: Strong conceptual and architectural understanding of core Google Cloud capabilities, including infrastructure (GKE, VPCs, IAM), data analytics (BigQuery, Dataflow), and enterprise security frameworks Executive Stakeholder Management: Stellar communications skills, with a proven ability to influence, negotiate, and advise C-level executives and senior technology leaders across Sydney's enterprise landscape Nice to have GCP Certifications: Active Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer certifications Local Industry Domain Expertise: Deep experience deploying GCP solutions within highly regulated Australian sectors, specifically Financial Services (Tier 1/2 Banks, Insurance) or NSW Public Sector agencies Modern Delivery Methodologies: Mastery of Scaled Agile (SAFe), modern DevOps practices, and FinOps frameworks (tailored to Google Cloud billing and pricing models) to drive cost optimization for clients Australia By choosing EPAM, you're getting a job at Great Place To Work-Certified™ in 2024 , Glassdoor’s Top 100 Best Places to Work in 2023 & one of Most Loved Workplace, as recognized by Newsweek , 2021 - 2023.
