Senior Project Manager

We’re looking for someone who knows how to get complex things done.

CR Powered by Epiroc is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Technology Development team in Brisbane, based in Cannon Hill with a hybrid culture.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable stepping into complexity, working through competing priorities and bringing different people together to get to an outcome.

You won’t need to be the loudest person in the room, but you will need to be confident. You’ll know when to challenge, when to listen, when something needs escalating, and when the team simply needs someone to cut through the noise and create a clear way forward.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead complex, cross-functional projects across our Technology Development portfolio, working with technical, operational and business teams, as well as external partners and vendors.

Spot risks and roadblocks early and deal with them pragmatically.

Have honest conversations when something isn’t working or a decision needs to be made.

The person we’re looking for

You’ve been around enough complex projects to know that the project plan is rarely the hardest part.

You build credibility quickly and you’re organised without being overly bureaucratic. You can work comfortably with technical specialists, operational teams and senior leaders, adapting your approach depending on who is in the room.

When things change, you adjust. When something starts to drift, you step in. When there’s ambiguity, you ask the right questions and help people get clear on what needs to happen next.

You’ll bring strong experience delivering complex projects or programs, ideally within technology, operations or an industrial environment. You’re comfortable working across different project methodologies and you know that good delivery is ultimately about people, judgement and outcomes.
