About this opportunity

Own the architecture, technical planning, and delivery of IMS LCM scopes for telecom operators. Lead end-to-end lifecycle activities—from upgrades and patches to expansions, migrations, hardware replacements, maintenance, and decommissioning—while protecting service continuity and providing technical leadership across SDU and SDH teams.

What you will do

  • Own technical design and execution for IMS nodes, including CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF, DNS/ENUM, and HSS.
  • Ensure solutions align with HLD/LLD, customer requirements, CPI, and 3GPP standards.
  • Prepare and review NIRs, MOPs, upgrade, rollback, and contingency plans.
  • Lead live-network LCM activities, upgrades, testing, acceptance, and handover.
  • Validate VoLTE, VoWiFi, SIP/Diameter signaling, call flows, configurations, and KPIs.
  • Troubleshoot complex IMS issues, perform RCA/CAPA, and provide L2/L3 support.
  • Act as the technical contact for customers and coordinate with Cloud, PACO, Transport, and vendor teams.
  • Track plans, risks, milestones, and technical documentation in JIRA/DSF.
  • Support effort estimation, capacity planning, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

The skills you bring

  • 10+ years of telecom experience with hands-on IMS LCM, upgrades, migrations, and live-network activities.
  • Strong knowledge of IMS architecture: CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF, DNS/ENUM, and HSS.
  • Expertise in SIP, SDP, Diameter, RTP, VoLTE, VoWiFi, EPC/5GC, and 3GPP standards.
  • Experience in IMS troubleshooting, signaling analysis, RCA, KPI monitoring, and tools such as Wireshark.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, NFV/SDN, and cloud-native environments.
  • Exposure to Python, Shell, or Ansible automation and tools such as JIRA/DSF.
  • Strong customer communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor telecom environments.
  • IMS/VoLTE or vendor product certifications.
  • Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS/Azure, Linux, Wireshark, or ITIL certification.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical teams.
  • Safe and successful IMS upgrades and lifecycle activities.
  • Service continuity with minimal network impact.
  • Timely troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.
  • Accurate technical documentation, configurations, and handover.
  • “All academic credentials must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are further subject to verification.”
