ERP Business Analyst (D365)

Location: Auckland (Albany HQ) (NZ)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

We're hiring a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Consultant to bring deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O expertise into our Finance delivery work, reporting into our Business Analyst Chapter Lead.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• This role sits at the centre of our Finance systems delivery, working across implementations, upgrades and enhancement programmes.
• Lead requirements gathering and produce functional design documentation for Finance, Accounts Receivable and Billing capability
• Coordinate and run UAT across D365 F&O changes
• Facilitate workshops with Finance and Operations stakeholders to shape solutions
• Work through D365 F&O data model, workflow configuration and integration design decisions
• Partner with IT leads, finance SMEs, D365 developers, architects, data analysts and integration specialists to deliver change
• Support integrations between D365 F&O and CRM, CPQ or billing platforms
• Contribute to broader data and analytics initiatives alongside the team

WHAT YOU NEED

• We're after someone who can bring real, hands-on platform depth to this role.
• 5+ years working hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, or a blended AX and D365 F&O background with equivalent platform depth
• Proven delivery of D365 F&O or AX implementations, upgrades or major enhancement programmes in a commercial environment
• Hands-on experience across Finance, Accounts Receivable and Billing modules
• Solid grasp of the D365 F&O data model, workflow configuration and integration patterns
• Strong functional design documentation and UAT coordination skills
• Confidence facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders across Finance and Operations teams
• Revenue Recognition or Project Operations module experience is a strong plus
• Customer-to-cash process exposure (invoicing, billing runs, credit management, dispute resolution, reconciliation) is a strong plus
• SQL, Power Platform (including PowerApp development) or Snowflake experience is a strong plus
