About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

As an Aera Techno-Functional Senior, you will support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Decision Intelligence solutions. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate decision requirements into data, logic, user experience, and action-oriented solution components.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business processes, decision points, KPIs, pain points, data needs, and expected outcomes.
• Convert functional requirements into solution designs covering data preparation, curated data views, rules, recommendations, workflows, user screens, and actions.
• Use SQL to profile, reconcile, transform, and validate data across source and curated datasets.
• Configure and test Aera solution components under the guidance of solution leads and architects.
• Prepare test scenarios, execute unit and functional testing, support user acceptance testing, and resolve defects.
• Create clear functional and technical documentation, including mappings, logic, assumptions, test evidence, and operating guidance.
• Collaborate with client teams, data engineers, developers, and project managers to manage dependencies and delivery risks.
• Support production deployment, hypercare, issue triage, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute reusable delivery assets and best practices.
• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business analytics, supply chain, operations, finance, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA from Tier 1 institute will be preferred.
• 5+ years of overall experience in technology consulting, analytics, enterprise applications, data solutions, or business process transformation.
• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, data quality checks, and performance-aware query design.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation in a techno-functional role.
• Experience with requirements gathering solution design, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Understanding of data models, integrations, business rules, workflows, and enterprise application delivery.
• Ideally, you’ll also
• Prior hands-on Aera experience is a strong plus.
• Experience in Decision Intelligence, supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing, commercial, or finance use cases.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms, APIs, ETL/ELT, reporting, Python, or advanced analytics.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models and distributed global teams.
