We are looking for an AI Engineering Manager with 8-14 years of experience to support Capital Markets Technology Program. The role requires strong expertise in Python engineering, AI/ML technologies, Financial Services products, and Capital Markets business processes. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering delivery, AI adoption, and team development while ensuring successful program execution.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and Hands-on Development
• Lead architecture and development of AI-enabled applications and platforms using Python.
• Drive adoption of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Design scalable APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Review and optimize application architecture for performance, resiliency, and scalability.
• Mentor engineering teams and establish development best practices.

Technical Leadership (Python-led AI Engineering)

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions supporting Capital Markets functions.
• Lead technical design reviews, architecture governance, and engineering standards.
• Guide implementation of AI platforms, model integration, and cloud-native solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, testing strategies, and secure development practices.
• Promote automation across testing, CI/CD, deployment, and operational monitoring.
• Establish quality gates and review mechanisms to improve delivery outcomes.

Collaboration & Support

• Collaborate with client stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
• Support strategic technology initiatives across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, and Operations domains.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges.

Skills and attributes for success

Required Skills

• 8-14 years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Trading, Risk, Regulatory Reporting, or Market Data domains.

Expertise in

Python, FastAPI, Django

• REST APIs and Microservices
• Machine Learning, MLOps, and Generative AI solutions
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

CI/CD, Git, Kubernetes, Containers

• Experience leading technical teams and enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
• Good to Have
• Experience with Financial Services Office (FSO) products.
• Experience with compliance and surveillance platforms.
• Exposure to Actimize, Mantas, Feedzai, SAS AML, or equivalent financial crime solutions.
• Cloud or AI certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

Azure AI Engineer, AWS ML Specialty, or equivalent certification.

Financial Services and Capital Markets transformation experience.

Education

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
