EY Finance/FinTech

(Senior) Consultant Data & Analytics - People Advisory Services (f/m/d)

Berlin, Germany In person Full-time

Are you ready to shape your future with confidence?

Working together to make the world a little bit better every day. This is our purpose at EY and as a team we go all in to work towards our bold ambition: to create long-term value and growth – for our clients, our people and society. Our network of around 400,000 people around the world offers you every opportunity to grow, develop, specialize and pursue your professional strengths and interests. We believe that the right career path is as individual as you are.

Your role

By joining the People Advisory Services service line, you'll be part of a fast-growing team that helps multinational companies manage compliance for short-term business travel. Your work sits between our clients and the technology teams behind EY's Business Travel Compliance software. You will take on a wide range of tasks:

Work directly with clients to manage master data in the EY Business Travel Compliance software across technical environments (e.g., test and production), with a focus on data quality and standardization.

Build and improve automated data flows, including data migrations between environments.

Create reports and dashboards that give clients visibility into their data quality and travel compliance.

Prepare and lead Data & Analytics workshops with clients to understand their requirements and turn them into data and integration solutions.

Support API integrations with client systems and analyze data-related bugs through to resolution.

Act as the link between business and tech by coordinating with Product Owners, Testing, and Content teams, as well as the Backend, Frontend, and RPA teams.

Your skillset

You write production-quality SQL and Python, and you're just as comfortable in a client workshop working out what needs to be built. This isn't pure development or pure reporting. The role is at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and consulting.

University degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, mathematics, or a related field, combined with relevant professional experience.

Strong technical and analytical skills, including SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, APIs, and experience with clean, tested, modular, and version-controlled code (e.g., Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps).

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud, as well as advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience translating business requirements into technical solutions; fluent German and English (C1 level or higher).

Your mindset

  • Agile: You believe that a flexible mindset is just as important for success as knowledge and skills.
  • Curious: You are ambitious and committed. We are looking for people who recognize opportunities, proactively tackle challenges, and find better solutions by asking targeted questions.
  • Collaborative: You value diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a team. We are looking for people to help us shape the future and create a working environment based on trust.

Your benefits

At EY, you will work in high-performing, interdisciplinary teams with innovative technologies. We support you in your various life situations with our flexible and inclusive working environment. Inspiring colleagues as well as training and development opportunities both on and off the job will empower you to grow and develop skills that will equip you for the future. We guarantee a steep learning curve. More about our benefits.
