- Configure and support local and global load balancing solutions, including Domain Name System (DNS)-based Global Server Load Balancing and application traffic management capabilities.
- Manage the daily administration of load balancing environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, change implementation, and performance optimization.
- Analyze network and application traffic flows, including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) behavior and packet inspection, to resolve issues and improve service availability.
- Partner with network engineering, security, cloud, and infrastructure teams to support new implementations, migrations, baseline reviews, and enterprise architecture initiatives.
- Design and engineer Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions using platforms such as Nokia VitalQIP, NS1, BlueCat, Infoblox, or similar technologies.
- Support cloud and data center load balancing strategy, including design of highly available network solutions aligned with enterprise standards and security baselines.
- Identify, assess, and recommend new technologies, protocols, and solutions that improve network efficiency, resiliency, and operational effectiveness.
- Develop testing, backup, and disaster recovery processes for load balancing and telecommunications infrastructure to minimize malfunctions and service disruption.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex load balancing issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve engineering and deployment challenges.
- Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.
Experience you'll need to have
